***Rescheduled event from Saturday, May 13***
Join North Carolina Botanical Garden staff to learn about Budburst, a national community science project where researchers and community scientists work together to answer critical questions about the effects of climate change on plants and animals—and how we can mitigate those effects.
In this program, you will learn how you can contribute to the effort by making simple plant observations and then you'll practice outdoors in the library pollinator garden.
This workshop will focus on our native bees, their importance as pollinators, basic identification, and bee-loved plants. Participants will receive a Budburst kit, including a pollinator plant and bee identification guide. Ages 15+ (accompanied by adult). Limit 20, please register below. Free to attend.
