Event Details

In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, B3 Coffee, The Orange/Chatham Support Group of the Autism Society of North Carolina, and Chapel Hill Public Library are proud to present the screening of the film, The Reason I Jump.

This is a unique film that highlights the perspective of an Autistic person, rather than Neurotypical interpretations of Autistic ways of being. Following the film, a panel of neurodivergent adults will talk about their own experiences around the theme of the Double Empathy Problem. Parents of young autistic children as especially encouraged to attend. Childcare will be provided. Free popcorn will be provided and refreshments will be available for purchase at the B3 kiosk.
