Program Description

Event Details

Ahead of our Project FeederWatch programs that run on the first Friday and Saturday of each month from November to April, we’re teaming up with the New Hope Audobon Society to give you a crash course in backyard birding.

We will begin by introducing bird watching, using binoculars, and using iNaturalist and eBird apps. You will have an opportunity to practice using binoculars with flat birds. We will then spend time discussing birds to look for in Pritchard Park.

This event is appropriate for people aged 16 and older, or younger teenagers accompanied by an adult. Masks are required for all participants. If participants have binoculars and bird identification books, they are encouraged to bring them.
