About the book:
Trails & Treats is the first North Carolina trail guide that combines hiking and running trails with curated treats to complete a day of outdoor adventures. The colorful guidebook will help new or seasoned hikers and trail runners discover many places to connect with our state’s incredible diversity of natural areas and sample a selection of delicious local eats. It features 30 trails and more than 70 places to eat in four general areas of the state—the mountains, the Triad, the Triangle, and the Charlotte area. Also included are some favorite easy and healthy breakfast and snack recipes to stay properly fueled before and during hikes and runs.
